All programs at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp are designed to be a fun highlight of the summer, while providing opportunities for growth in faith, leadership, and friendship. Campers experience these gifts through a wide range of carefully crafted programs and activities (worship, Bible study, service projects, arts/crafts, swimming, and much more!), while maintaining safety as a #1 priority. Why summer camp? There is a plethora of research out there that shares the benefits of a summer camp experience; here’s an ACA article to consider!

On this webpage, program descriptions are organized by age group. Your camper’s age group is according to what grade they will be entering in Fall 2024.

More info about Outback, Night Camp, Treehouse Camp, Adventure Camp, Wild Water Week

These camps are adventure programs that take place at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp, but spend 90% of their time away from the main camp area and instead take place in our campout areas – Outback, Murphy Brassett, Bear Valley, Wilderness Area, etc. These areas have platform, canvas tent cabins with rustic bunk beds inside them. Each bunk has a mattress; campers should bring sleeping bags & pillows, and any other sleeping equipment (sleeping pads, etc.) that will help make their stay comfortable. Facilities include outhouses(portapotties) near these campout areas. Access to showers is limited throughout the week, with a chance to shower 1x during the week. These campers will prepare (and clean up after) most of their own meals over campfires and camping stoves, with a menu more like an off-site backpacking trip. Campers in these programs should expect to have minimal interaction with other programs happening at FLBC at that time.

I’m registered, what’s next?

You will receive an email confirmation and welcome letter which includes a list of what to bring to camp. You can also find this on our website (under Forms & Information).

When is everything due?

For campers registered before June 1st:
• Full payment, health form, and required waivers are due by June 1st.
For those registering after June 1st:
• Full payment is due at time of registration.
Please complete forms online at the time of enrollment or as soon as possible.
Having forms filled out online early will:
• Make registration fat go much smoother for you and your camper.
• Allow your camper’s counselor to review their information and better care for your camper
• Improve your church campership communication
• Help us have your camper’s medical information readily available at a moment’s notice

What time should I arrive at camp for my week?

Camp registration begins each week on Sunday afternoon from 3:30–5:00pm (Wednesday afternoon for Half-Week campers). Registration will be located near the basketball court or, if it’s raining, in the Cockrell Center.

When is the camp week over?

Camp ends with a closing worship/program at 11 am on the last day of your camper’s session (this could be Tuesday for first-half, half week campers, Wednesday for Week 4 campers, or Friday for full week sessions). Family and friends are invited to join us for worship in the Amphitheater, located just beyond the parking lot. Departure is around noon!

May I send my camper mail while at camp?

Yes! However, consider mail travel time to ensure it arrives in time! Please NO care packages, gifts, or food.

Mailing address:
FLBC ”Camper Name and Program” (ie. Pioneer)
PO Box 790
Lakeside, MT 59922

You can also email your camper!
Send a message to camper@flbc.net with their name & cabin information in the subject line.

What if I want to come to camp but can’t afford it?

FLBC believes that every person who wants to come to camp should be able to do so! No one is ever turned away for financial reasons. 25% of all program fees are already funded through generous gifts from FLBC supporters. If your child or a person you know needs financial assistance, “Camperships” are available beginning April 15th.

Call the office at 406-752-6602 to request a Campership form after you have already checked with your congregation and/or family for other scholarship availability.

Where are you located?

We are located on the west side of Flathead Lake along Highway 93, 17 miles south of Kalispell, Montana, 3 miles south of Lakeside.

Directions to FLBC:

From Highway 93—Turn onto Lutheran Camp Road (between mile markers 94 & 95). After half a mile, turn left at the ‘Y’ and continue another half mile to the parking lot on the right (just beyond the Gathering Pavilion).

Are there any discounts?

Camperships are always available. Additionally, for YOUTH camp sessions, register by March 1st and receive $100 off your camper fees; register by April 1st and receive $50.

What does a day at camp look like?

No 2 days at camp are the same! That being said, here is a sample schedule for our traditional on-site camps! Specialty camps have their own schedules, different activities, etc.
