SUMMARY:Annual Meeting & Delegate Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Annual Meeting & Delegate Retreat\nOctober 11 – 12\, 2024\nDelegates are invited to join us for our Delegate Retreat to learn the ins and outs of being an advocate for camp in their congregations and communities.\nEach of our 55 association churches may send 2 lay persons and 1 pastoral representative as voting members for our annual meeting; delegates are also asked to continue sharing about camp throughout the year. However\, anyone who is interested in learning more about how to support FLBC and be an ambassador for camp is welcome to join the delegate retreat! \nThe delegate retreat begins with Friday dinner @ 6:15 pm. We’ll dive into “sessions” on being an ambassador for camp\, and learn more about FLBC. Join us for Friday evening\, or come to camp on Saturday (breakfast at 8:15 am\, first session begins at 9 am) and stay for the annual meeting. Lunch at 12:15 pm\,\n1:00 pm Annual Meeting\, Fund raising event 2:00–6:00 pm. \n  \nFRIDAY\, OCTOBER 11  \nDelegates arrive for a retreat (Friday eve and Saturday morning) on how to be an ambassador for FLBC. Learn more about your role as a delegate/ambassador \n6:15pm – Dinner \nSATURDAY\, OCTOBER 12 \n8:15-12:15pm – Breakfast and Delegate retreat continues \n12:15pm – Lunch for all \n1:00pm – FLBC annual meeting\, hosted by the FLBC Board of directors; Each of the FLBC Association member congregations are allowed two lay delegates\, and a pastor or pastors associate\, i.e. LPA \n2:00-5:00pm – Home Show to raise money for camperships.
